Think About It

Read also the article What Does "Die To Self Every Day" Mean To Christians? Is it Biblical? - Andrew Farley (Crosswalk).

Mr Farley argues that a Christian does not need to die to self because that has happened at the time of salvation. Others would say it is a daily requirement. What do you think?

Is it possible that we can die only by the power of God and that did happen when we came to faith in Jesus, but we are also to action that truth everyday by choosing Jesus rather than ourselves. We are to "consider ourselves dead to sin" (Rom 6:11) i.e. believe it is true and live accordingly?
