Jesus The Judge
The Nicene Creed says of Jesus "He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end." Likewise, the Apostles' Creed says, "From there [being seated at the right hand of the Father] he will come to judge the living and the dead." They reflect the biblical teaching. There are many passages that talk about Jesus coming to judge the earth.
It is possibly generally thought that it is God the Father who judges. In fact, sometimes it is erroneously thought that God the Father is harsh while Jesus is loving and merciful. That is wrong on many counts. For one, Jesus is the exact revelation of God. Jesus shows us what God is like. Those who have seen Jesus have seen the Father.
Secondly, it is shown to be wrong by the fact that the Bible describes Jesus (as well as the Father) as the judge.
