Jesus: Fruitful

When Jesus died, He said, "It is finished". He had done all that had been asked of Him. He had accomplished His God-given objectives.

It would also, of course, be possible to conclude that He had failed; that he was giving up; He could go no further. Certainly, dying on a Cross looked like a failure.

The facts that millions of people have since been reconciled to God and the Christian church has spread around the world suggest that Jesus did not fail. He became the Saviour of the world and started a movement that continues to sweep the world.

Success might not always look the way the world says it should. Success is doing what God has required of us - nothing more, nothing less.
