Jesus' example

• Matthew 9:2, Mark 2:5, Luke 5:20 - Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven" to the paralysed man lowered through the roof.

• Luke 7:48 - Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven" to the sinful woman who anointed Jesus at Simon's house.

• Luke 23:34 - Jesus prayed that God would forgive those who were crucifying Him.

• John 8:10-11 - Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery but told her to go and sin no more.

• John 21:15-17 - Jesus restored Peter after Peter had denied knowing Jesus.
